Brave Shadow

24 02 2007

Shadow is such a brave pup. No scratching, no wheat, no treats. Is there anything left in life to live for? Ok, ok walks and super urban hikes are excellent and I know she looks forward to them every waking moment! Fry also loves them. Ho, hum. I think it’s time for a drink.

No Wheat

24 02 2007

My ear has been itching lately. According to the rest of my family, the right ear has been bleeding and oozing puss. I’ve been to the vet already… I don’t want that again! (See previous posts about the dreaded cone) But I think my family has found a new solution.

They are now no longer giving me wheat. While this means I don’t get nearly as many treats, they have replaced the bland grey chalk (my old dog food) with new meaty, fishy, stinky… well, kibble would be an understatement. More like little crunchy meat hunks! And they contain no wheat, which frees up more space for fish! (Now all they need is cheese!)

I hope the new diet ends soon, but the dog food continues. See you later!

Rubber Band

1 02 2007

I haven’t posted for quite a while, so I thought I would now.

Fryday has acquired a liking to fetching rubber bands. They go far and fast. They present a challenge while finding, however. They aren’t big and green, they’re small and blend in with a wide variety of contexts. He’s extra pleased with himself, however when he does find it. So it’s worth it.

Maybe I could even include video footage of him fetching! I’ll ask my family for help on that one. In the meantime, here’s a picture of a rubber band.
