Treat Day

26 12 2008

Yesterday was a very fun and special day.  I have noticed it comes about once a weather-cycle, about when the snow starts.  Right before, my family puts a rosemary bush in the living room and covers it in lights, and they start being home more often.

So, yesterday, I woke up to everyone gone from their beds.  I peeled myself up and into the living room, where the family was sitting and giving each other paper boxes.  And I noticed that there was a fire in the hole in the wall, and next to it were oversized socks.  At that moment I realized It must be TREAT DAY!

I went over to the socks and started sniffing them.  The smallest one, as always, smelled the best.  It smelled like flavored meat!  I looked at it, and politely fidgeted until my family took it down for me.

The jerkey was so good I can still feel it in my tummy.

Walks in Snow

21 12 2008

Going for walks in the snow is not like anything else.  When the snow melts under your paws, it gives them an exciting chilly feeling!  I love plowing my head down at surface-level and getting my face all wet; then I come up and roll around.

Hopefully, when I do this, I’m at home, and when I get too cold I can go and curl up on the couch.

Oh, and did I mention that I love to eat the snow!  The way it stings in little tiny spots on my tongue and melts down… whoops!  Got to go; treat time!

More bicycles

12 12 2008

There are now more bicycles in the main room of my house.  It seems like David keeps bringing more home every while!  I don’t know what they’re for, but every time they leave with them, I can’t come.
